Question for Slider Gurus About Real FG %

First of all, I play solely offline and don't normally tweak a lot of sliders. I'm 48 with 4 kids, 2 of which are ages 2 and 4, so my gaming time is limited. Don't like getting caught up in a time consuming slider game, however there's something with 2K25 that's driving me crazy!

I know the lack of swishes has been an issue with real fg % and shooting for a while now, but when I watch players streaming their games using real fg%, I see a decent amount of swishes. For some reason, my games just don't have them. I'm averaging around 10 - 12% of my makes per game as swishes. Great shooters, wide open, and they're either bricking it or it's hitting the rim in some way before going in. I don't know that the shot coverage impact slider actually does anything using real fg %, but I've played around a little with it the past few days and noticed in those limited games I've seen maybe 3 to 4 more swishes per game when its set to 100, as opposed to when I have it on 30 or 20. Still a small amount of my makes are swishes though. Does anyone have any slider suggestions or is there even a way to fix this? I love the game play for this years game, but it really takes away from the immersion for me.

Re: Question for Slider Gurus About Real FG %

shot coverage impact modifies your success rate without contest and with contest.
If you take a good 3-point shooter, using real fg %, shot coverage impact set to 100 and all other sliders set to 50,
you'll get 100% on open shots, but 0% or maybe 10% on contested shots.

Thanks. That makes sense. I played some more last night, first at 100 and did notice that all of the swishes (maybe 9 or 10 combined for both games) I had occurred on completely wide open shots. I struggled to score though. I shot 34% the first game and 37% the second game. On the third game I dropped the slider down to 30, and shot 48%, but only had a hand full of swishes (3 or 4), which mostly occurred on wide open shots as well. By the way, I started on Default All-Pro, but changed the coverage impact and upped all of my shooting sliders by 5. That's currently where I am. Like I said before, having nearly all of your makes hit the rim at some point during the shot really takes the immersion away, especially when you're playing with good shooters.

Anyone seeing a lot of swishes on real fg %, please share your sliders. Thank you.
