I really wanted to stay as close to default all star as possible but 1 slider I think needs to go to 0. It was a slider that I actually discovered very early on in this years cycle. You can see armor and I talking about it in his thread when he was just getting started on his sliders for the year.
That’s the “shot timing impact” slider for the CPU. I wish I would’ve implemented it earlier, but I was really trying to keep everything near 50. But then it hit me, this particular slider is patch proof, no patch could ever really affect this slider if it’s at 0. The reason being is by putting it on 0, you’re basically putting the CPU on real fg% rather than timing.
The CPU by default always uses shot timing, even when the user is on real fg%. There’s two ways to prove this is true. The first is the fact that the real player fg% option is listed under “controller settings” not the actual gameplay settings. Secondly, when the CPU shoots, you still see feedback over their head even when you have real fg% on.
With that being said, here are the sliders I’m testing in comparison to the OP…

The changes have made shooting much better for both me and the CPU from 3. I’ve played 4 games so far and have gone 2-2.

TC, how have your games been going. I got sidetracked playing Hogwarts Legacy and haven’t played much of anything else.. did jump back on 2k the other night, and for some reason I tried playing with shot timing, default superstar, picked the Mav’s and went against the Nuggets… Best game of 2k I have ever played. Finally won it in the last 30 seconds of Triple OT.. game was crazy, and Joker had 71, but Kyrie had 51 and Luca 54… incredible game, and I thought I was sticking with that… since that game, I can’t shoot using shot timing to save my life.. back to Real FG% it is

Had to put the game down for a little while as it was getting patched so frequently. Seems like the patches have calmed down and I’m back trying to dial some sliders in. I keep coming back to this game because it has so much damn potential, there’s no way I can walk away, just yet lol.

I’ve been labbing for the past few days on this new set and have been encouraged by what I’ve been seeing. It’s a modern era set on super star difficulty. I’m going live on twitch in a few for anyone who wants to see them in action, there will also be a VOD.

OP and Xbox Share have been updated. I just started a new MyEra with the Mavs, using “start today”. We didn’t even consider re-signing Kyrie and have put a bunch of defenders and shooters around Luka.

In order to get through seasons a bit quicker, I’m only playing about 2 games per month. So this will result in playing 15-20 games and then every game in the playoffs. This will not only help get through seasons quicker, but will also make my GM skills matter more, as a majority of games will be simmed.

So far through 4 games we are 2-2. I played opening night on the road against the Clippers. Then I wanted to see what it was like to play on the road against the Celtics, so I played that a few nights later. I will more than likely sim the rest of the month. Here’s the box scores from the two games I played.

Tc these are really well done, I had a very good play now game Lakers vs Memphis playoff game. I won by 8 points, but I felt it could have been lost had someone else stepped up for Memphis.

Mordant dropped 30 but ad and Bron both was in the 30s as well.

I honestly feel these feel so good, I wanna use them for 80s - 00s, only thing I'm not sure on is what do I adjust for 3s for 80s and 90s?

I feel for 00s it probably could stay where it's at, as you have set now trufully, but that 80s and 90s is the issue?

Another thing, what are your settings for the controller at the bottom?
