Offense vs offense...?

So after quite a bit of early testing with no real luck. I just thought of a crazy idea that could be really fun. Play offense for both teams in a game. Yes, switch sides every offensive possession. Sounds crazy but I think it would be a blast. Just go back and forth vs yourself lol.

This would eliminate cpu shot tendency sliders. It would ensure a lot of game stats to be spot on. Anyone out there want to try this? I think it would be difficult to pull off every offensive possession, but if it cam be done the games I feel would be pretty epic.

Sounds like how my dad watches most sports. Root for whoever is on offense. LOL

I actually love the idea and think that would be super fun. Executing it though would be a pain because unless I'm missing something, as soon a basket is made you would have to pause game, dpad over to "select sides", switch teams, then unpause game....then do that EVERY TIME a basket is made.

Yep - pretty much. Sorta interrupts the flow. But it's a cool idea.

I was pretty tired last night so couldn't finish a game. But doing this the game was tied 82 all headed to the 4th quarter.

And it does interrupt the flow a little but it's really not bad at all. If a foul occurs, I switch then and have cpu shoot the free throws. With real player % me shooting them would be the same outcome anyway.

By the 3rd quarter I had a good flow of switching sides very quickly and it didn't effect my game at all. I will for sure continue playing games this way just for fun at the very least. If I can't figure out how to stop cpu paint cheese this may be the way I always play 2k from now on and create sliders specifically for offense vs offense.

This idea would be next level if 2K picked it up and made it a feature. That way you wouldn’t even have to pause the game. There’s probably already a PC mod out that can achieve this.

That would be badass. Just smooth transition after each possession. Could do if you only want to play defense too. But offense more fun lol
