Contact shot success slider

Im wondering what does this slider do exactly. Does it affect the success rate of contact layup animations? Because theres already a Layup Success slider, do they both interact to determine the success of a shot?

The higher it is the more And 1s you will see. I have it to 13 and still see the occasional and one basket. Default and there are way too many for my liking. Need to drop to help get more FTA and less FGA.

There are plenty of contact-layup attempts that don't result in foul calls though. I was always under the impression that a guy could take a bump and still finish on non-calls.

it is an additional modifier on top of the shots where you draw contact, whether its clean or foul contact. so a layup has the layup success, and a layup with some contact or a foul takes that layup success and then adds the additional variable of how much the contact should affect that success.
