New Theme for 3/14 (Campus Legends)

The new theme dropping tomorrow, as suspected, is Campus Legends. We've criticized 2K for some goofy attributes and overalls on players, but this theme is taking it to another level. There are 11 players in the set: 2 rubies, 4 amethysts and 5 diamonds. Exactly 3 of those 11 players have been or are good/great NBA players (Walton, Melo, & Battier). So now we live in a world with a Diamond Jimmer Fredette and Diamond Tyler Hansbrough because they were good in college. And the reward is a 96 OVR Christian Laettner. This mode gets weirder and weirder. Here are the cards in the set...

Underwhelming is right. I don't spend a lot on VC, but for the first time I'm actually going to be home when the new pack drop and I was looking forward to trying my luck as soon as they did. After seeing this, I'm thinking it's a hard pass. I'll save my money for the next theme or make some MT in the auction house as people throw away their cards and badges. Hopefully the market tanks a bit and I can finally get my hands on Diamond AD.
