How to get your custom area filled up with crowds

Hello, I don't know if its been answered before, but I cant seem to find a clear answer. When you play your my team at home in your custom area there are barely any fans that show up. I've heard that you have to get fans in myplayer or progress higher in myteam online. I'm wondering if someone has a clearer answer.

Great question. Ive wondered this myself. And idk if its related to fans, but the screen shake on custom courts is barely noticeable. Especially compared to the official courts.

I think it's tied to how many fans one's player has in MyCareer.

So I will never have much of a crowd. Which is fine, because I turn the crowd off and don't believe in shaking the camera anyway.
