I am on the PS4 and RARELY do I find people talking into their mic's. Whenever I see the little voice icon I always plug mine in and talk to my opponent. Lately I've been talking to "no one" just in attempt to get someone to talk to me.

Do you use your mic? Why or why not?

Yes I do but I usually run into the same thing as you. I use it because I use my mic all the time no matter what I'm playing and I like communicating with my opponent/teammates.

Yeah I do sometimes and people are always shocked to find someone from Ireland playing a basketball game lol

No, half the time I don't even have the TV volume on, im listening to podcasts or music.

Exactly ... and I've actually noticed this weekend watching march madness that I play better when I have the game volume muted, doesn't make a ton of sense but it seems to be the case!

I've noticed that it is always little kids on the mic.

Haven't been here in a long time and since forgot former log in info, so had to start over from scratch ( hopefully folks aren't too hard on a kinda new guy ) but I also play with sound off and music on. Sometimes I cut on mic/headset just to see if the other person is talking, if they are not little kids or not talking too stupid , then I'll talk...also If they use cheap tatics and cheese type stuff and still try to talk, I will just unplug the mic altogether.
