What are your best tips to win in Road to the Playoffs?

I always get a win streak of around 3-4 games and then lose 3-4 in a row every time.

I've been playing for a few weeks & just got to the 5th seed

so many times I've lost due to lag at the end of a close game

anyone have any good tips besides getting good players , I already have a great line up.

Feed the post to a dominant center. Nobody even knows what to do. You'd be amazed how many games you can win by just dumping it to a guy like Olajuwon in the post every time down the floor. When they start doubling, kick it out.


There's tons of different ways to win. You just have to do your best to stop the Jordan cheese.

Play smart, be patient, and make sure to have money plays in case your offense is not working. Also be sure to make adjustments when needed.

Another thing is to make a team based on how you are going to play, don't just make a team with all the best players you have.

Build a team around your play style use sig skills that complement your style. Also Make a balance team, some shooters, slasher, and make sure your biggs are good rebounders.

Also, treat it like they really are the playoffs. If you notice in the NBA, the playoffs are much more controlled and the pace slows down.

Teams that run and gun in the playoffs often have trouble adjusting to the decreased pace and increased defensive intensity.

I see a lot of kids online that just want to run up and down the court, score as fast as possible, and dunk on everyone. When you get the ball, TAKE YOUR TIME. It will slow the game down, throw off the other player, and even if you are giving up baskets this will allow you to keep it closer.

Ball movement and establish the post game early and often as someone else mentioned, a lot of "cheesers" have no idea how to work the post or defend in it when someone is good at it.

Use pick and roll and don't rush things on offense, if you see a lane close up then kick it back out to the perimeter and reset. I've found all of these strategies to really help and 9 times out of 10 the opponent doesn't know what to do.

The PnR is a great offensive scheme that will get you a ton of open shots. If you read the defense and make the right pass you would have no problem getting easy buckets.

Run Dimer & PnR maestro on your PG. If your PG is gold the 3rd sig skill is your choice but I'll go with LD.

On your wings throw comer specialist on both of them. In this scheme your SG and SF will get a ton of open looks from the corner.

On your big men use brick wall, screen outlet and ten Reb.
