How do I uninstall the patch?

I'll admit. I've been a terrible hitter for a long time. Enjoyed some good success in MLB 11, but I've never been able to have any prolonged success on any difficulty level until this year. Was doing great at Veteran. I've played 15 RTTS games since the patch and all I'm doing is popping up in the infield and squibbing the ball left and right. I kinda wish I hadn't let the patch install. Any way to uninstall it?

The patch has nothing to do with that, but if you insist them just reinstall the game.

If you reinstall the game doesn't it just download a version with all the patches up until the latest point?.

I think you would need to turn automatic updates off on a PS4, or disconnect from online on xbox like many had to do for Madden this year. Then the game won't update and you'd be playing out of the box or the version that was on your disc.
