Runners freezing in Diamond Dynasty

So 5 separate times during my last Diamond Dynasty game, after hitting the ball, the runner would freeze in place after taking 2-3 steps. At least 3 of those times they were balls hit into the outfield for what would have been singles. Except because they froze, all my opponent had to do was throw to 1st.

Has this happened to anybody else? This is the second time I've seen this happen, and it only ever happens on 1 team. The last time this happened it was my opponent's Ichiro(and only Ichiro) that froze in place 2/4 times he was at the plate.

So all I'm asking is....WHAT THE F***??

Yes, this happens to me and my opponent occasionally as well. I mostly play online franchise, and that is where I've seen it. It usually happens to one specific player, so if that player freezes his first at bat, he is likely to have it happen again on the second or third. I've also found out that if the batter hits a home run, it ends the game because the batter won't run the bases and you can't throw him out.

I haven't had it happen to me in Diamond Dynasty yet, but it has happened in online franchise in at least 5 games for me.
