Giant sized ball when hitting with broadcast cameras

When playing The Show, I prefer to use camera angles that most resemble a game broadcast on TV. As such, unlike most users on here, I prefer to use the various broadcast cameras for hitting.

When using the broadcast cameras for pitching, everything works perfectly. However, when using the broadcast cameras for batting, the ball becomes a disproportionately large white "grapefruit" which also seems to travel noticeably slower than when using the same camera for pitching. I wonder if the programmers did this to make hitting easier? VERY annoying!

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a glitch, or is there a workaround?

Yeah. I noticed this too. What's cool is that you can kinda see the spin of the ball which helps with pitch recognition.
