What difficulty is everyone playing on (or going to play on)?

I tried Legend and played a few games but damn, it's much harder than last year. Tried HOF default and it's much more realistic, feels like Legend from last year. What difficulty are you guys all playing on (or going to play on)?

Here are the current tallies through John Arbuckle's post on Page 5:

Difficulty Pitching Hitting
Legend 3 1
Hall of Fame 7 8
All-Star 13 10
Veteran 0 2
Dynamic 7 9

I use Dynamic because I hate having to tinker with sliders.

Usually settles close to Veteran for me (I can lead the league in hits but be near the bottom in RBI due to being swing happy and a lot of GIDP) for hitting, and near All-Star (usually mid-pack ERA, slightly lower on strikeouts) for pitching.

All Star with tweaked sliders (maxed pitching) and hitting adjustments for CPU to be challenging.

I have changed to hall of fame both pitching and hitting as I felt CPU was way too passive.

I play franchise on Hall of Fame, so I'll keep it at that.

Re: What difficulty is everyone playing on (or going to play on)?

I will probably start on AS level with pitching for both me and the AI, but will use Dynamic hitting to start out anyway. Hitting is where Im weak at with this game, just dont have the reaction time anylonger to be able to hit on high difficulty. Plus I didnt buy last yrs game, and I didnt end up keeping 15 thinking I would get 16, but finances have been tight for us, and I heard of too many bugs last yr to waste money we didnt have, so I did without, so basically I havent played in close to 2 yrs, so I know I will suck badly.

I also will probably use quick counts to help me, although I mainly use quick counts so I draw a realistic amount of walks. I use the Reds so if I didnt use QC's Votto would never walk near enough in game compared to what he does IRL, so by using QC's I can get him somewhat close to his OBP.

Gonna work on my Dynamic level again. Had to go without it on 16 when I upgraded to the Pro and didn't like the gameplay as much. I landed in a sweet spot with AS+ pitching and AS hitting, so hoping I can find a groove again with my slider changes.

20 minutes for me till I can play but I'll likely be playing on All Star hitting and pitching unless something has changed this year that I'm not yet aware of such as All Star difficulty becoming easier or too hard this year.

I just realized that this is another reason to PLAY the first spring training.

You can get the Dynamic difficulty to settle in for you without it affecting the start to your season.
