Gameplay has been ho-hum for years now (and I lump in the terrible "morphing" swing animations with gameplay), Im not sure what goggles people are looking through if they say the gameplay has been great. I would hope we see major major major improvements in gameplay this year. The graphics have always seemed on point to me, but it doesnt matter what it looks like if you dont feel like you are playing a legit baseball game.

Adding to his question because I only saw GIFs of it. Do you know if the pause before the end of the meter is actually what happens in the game or was that done for effect and in game it's fluid just like the normal throwing meter.

I can't answer that unfortunately. I hope it was just to show off the meter because personally, I don't like the slow motion effect.
