Headphones while playing The Show?

Good day folks,

With SOTS back, I want to have the best possible experience when it comes to the audio. Most TV's nowadays are awful for sound. (And my TV surround sound isn't working at the moment)

So question is, do you guys use headphone while playing? And if so, what are the best ones for crisp sound and surround as well?

I always use headphones. I usually just use my old ThermalTake headset (with wiring issues and everything), but I'll bust out my Sennheiser Momentums (https://www.amazon.ca/Sennheiser-Mom...eiser+momentum) for playoffs and the like.

I just got my Kingston HyperX Clouds in the mail a week ago, and I highly recommend them. (https://www.amazon.ca/Kingston-Hyper...yperx+cloud+ii).

They are REALLY good audio quality for the price, and have a ton of great features to boot. Not as good as the momentums in terms of raw audio quality, but more comfortable for long sessions and with better noise cancellation. If I didn't already have the momentums I'd be using the HyperX Clouds as my walk around headphones (the mic is removable, so you don't have to look like a dork).

Neither of these options have surround though, so that's the drawback. Sorry about the Canadian sites, but that's what google gives me.

The Playstation brand over the ear headphones are pretty great. About 100 bucks. Silver or platinum series but I can't remember. Wireless as well.

I don't recommend the Sony Gold Wireless Headphones.

Had mine under a year and they started falling apart. Plastic hinges cracked and at this point they are being held together by electrical tape and luck.

I was pretty gentle with them as well.

This is how most of my headsets of died. It's some sort of physical break, usually impossible to fix. I once had a Turtle Beach where the headband snapped. The freaking headband!

That's another reason I'm recommending the Kingston HyperX Cloud. They are constructed out of brushed metal and a dense matted plastic. PC Gamer rated them as the best headset (which is why I bought them) and they are cheaper than the majority of headsets out there.

I too use headphones and I just have a $5 pair of budz. They do the trick for me.

Good to know. Did you fold yours in alot? I know I keep mine unfolded at all times. I'll have to keep my eye on them. Thanks for the input.

Sony Gold's baby. With SOTS....it's awesome.

I always play my games with my headphones anyway. But The Show is amazing with them on.
