Really happy to hear that they added transitional throwing animations for outs at 1st base. I play a lot of head to head with friends, and we definitely tend to run the bases very aggressively. A lot of times, with a relatively quick baserunner, you are able to advance 2 bases on an infield ground out. You can make it a lot of the time because after catching the ball for the out, the 1st baseman will get stuck in a casual catch animation and come to a complete stop before making a throw to another base, even if the throw was preloaded well ahead of time. Just really happy to see this alleviated, it's something that has bothered me a lot over the years.

I'm a little upset that they've done this, actually. I could often score from 2nd on a ground-out with my RttS guy who has 99 speed, +7 from his equipment boost. With 106 total speed, I dang well should be able to safely make it. Now I won't be able to use that completely unrealistic cheese in this year's game. Cancelling my pre-order now.
