First No Hitter Ever!

I've been playing MLB the Show for as long as up can remember. It is, without a doubt, my favorite sports game every year. After 10+ years and several neat misses, I have just thrown my first no hitter! I could not be more psyched!!! Strasburg vs. the Phillies. 9IP, 10K, 2BB. Went into the top of the 9th with a perfect game, but promptly walked 2 straight. Nerves were getting the best of me. Managed to pull it out though. Immediatel yelled out in pure joy, only to have my wife look at me like I was a total idiot. That's where you guys come in. I know you can appreciate my joy. Great forum, great game, possibly the best Monday of my life.

I threw a no hitter into the 7th with David Price against the Yanks. Then Tex had to mess it all up with a single by the second baseman still that feeling of being so close can really rack up some nerves!

I threw a no-hitter in my RTTS career in the minor leagues. Still have yet to throw one in the majors. It was the first no-no that I have thrown, and I have been playing The Show since 2008. I, too, was going crazy. My hands were sweaty and I was talking to myself the whole 8th and 9th inning. When I completed the game, I jumped up and yelled, which was met by awkward looks as well. It is very hard to do. Which, if you play this game often, gives you a great sense of accomplishment.

Congrats! I also just threw my first MLB The Show no-hitter this week. It was in my Tiger's franchise with Anibal Sanchez vs. Houston on HOF difficulty. Like yours, I had a perfect game going into the 9th, and walked two batters after getting behind in the count. There were really only two near hits, both line drives snagged by infielders. It's crazy how nervous I felt late in the game, but man it was such an awesome feeling to finally accomplish it.
