Making a case......

As a lifelong Tigers fan I may be a little biased here...... but why the hell is JD Martinez a 75 overall? I think this season and the past season warrants a MINIMUM of an 80 overall rating.

Top 2 in home runs in the AL... all star... solid fielder... he's hitting around .290 with 24 dingers? Show the guy some love.

He is a 81 overall and is about to get another boost Monday. Which will likely put him as a gold player and about 86 overall.

Go to save live rosters then upload the roster manually

What are his individual ratings?

Maybe his OVR is being held down by a weakness or two that's "overdone" (remember, the OVR "rating" is just some formula that weights the other ratings. Everyone here could, literally, create their own OVR for a player).

If his contact is solid and his power is above average - I would think that's doing him justice based on a .290 with 24 HR.

Re: Making a case......

out of the box ratings are based on stats/formula from the past 3 years.

I've been using strictly OS rosters... last update was the 29th. This post was directed towards the guys here who create the rosters in hopes they don't overlook him and give him a deserving boost.

Why not then just edit him yourself? That way you don't have to wait nor hope they update him.

Just the peace of mind of knowing that everyone using OS rosters (intended purpose) knows that JD Martinez is better than a player that is 75 overall.
