Where are these features?

1) Where is the box on the side which shows if the batter is too early or too later on the previous pitch, the batter's PCI, and the previous pitch's location?

2) On MLB The Show 14, when I press the big pad in the middle of the controller, I can see the batter's rating against LHP/RHP, speed, plate vision, etc. How can I get those on The Show 15?

Thx.

Push R2 during an at-bat and it will show the strike zone with previous pitches and tell you if you were early or late on the last one.

Touch pad does nothing in-game now. Hit right on the D-Pad and you should see the splits. There is info in the Options menu too such as batter and pitcher analysis.

Along the same lines, is there a way to see the hitter's hot and cold zones in the options menu or anywhere? I don't like playing with strike zone on...

You can set the hot and cold zones to preview with the strike zone off.

Re: Where are these features?

1) They got rid of this. Now you get a blob that shows up for like 2 seconds, and gives you very little information. Once it disappears you can't look at it again, and if you swung, it sometimes doesn't show up at all. You can use R2 if you have Guess Pitch enabled, but it only works when you're batting, and it still doesn't show you swing info or pitch speed

2) This has been moved to the d-pad

This is incorrect. You can still look at it after it disappears, all you have to do is hold R2 before the next pitch and it will show up. And I have never had it not show up after swinging. Also, you can use it even if guess pitch is off, as that is how I have it setup.

And it works the same way when pitching as it does hitting.

We're talking about two different things here. I know you can bring the R2 screen up any time, but it doesn't seem like you can bring the blob back once it disappears. R2 only shows all the pitches of the at-bat (or a previous at-bat). It doesn't show the swing or any of the other blob info... unless I'm missing something here?

And neither of these functions show pitch speed.

Yes you can. If you make contact and the next batter is up, if the blob doesn't show up when you press R2 then press right on the D-Pad to go to the previous at-bat/pitch. You can see what type of contact was made.

And no, none show pitch speed.
