Diamond Dynasty -- Cant get Created player into lineup

In diamond dynasty mode I have fed my created player a bunch of cards. He is not very good 61 SP 60 at 2B. But i wanna use him in the games. However when I go press "add to squad" on his page and then select any player on my roster (i tried RPs and 2B) it says "you no longer own the card you are trying to utilize." I dont know what this means and there doesnt seem to be a way to add eligibility to my created player either... Super confused.

Anyone else having this problem?

I didn't have that problem but I went about adding my player a different way. I created him then adding to the squad before feeding him any cards. I'm not sure if that makes a difference though.

Ton of people having the same problem. I spent a ton of cards training him today and then tried to put him into my lineup, but no dice. I went to file a bug report on show website and there is already a ton of them. Seems to be a pretty widespread issue. Ive been trying to figure out a work around but nothing yet.

I randomly just trained him again and then immediately tried putting him into my lineup and it worked this time. I dunno

Might work for you guys too.

Make sure he is higher as a position player then pitcher and use the auto line up feature (square) should work
