Some one said something about the players arms being to short in till like mlb 10 or something and yes that is true but still the game looked way better in mlb 09 and 08 then it did before on ps2. Even though the arms got fixed in like mlb 10 the game has a whole only looked a little better then mlb 09. I didn't buy mlb 07 the first game on ps3 but form what I have heard the game didn't look that great and yet mlb 08 the second one looked way way better. So there is no reason the second version cant make a big jump like it did on ps3. I played ever version of mlb the show form like 08-14 and ever year the graphics jumps where small. Most of the time with sports games you see just small graphcis jumps form year to year in less you are going form a new system to a old system. Really mlb 14 should have looked better and if not this year. Mlb 15 should look way better and then after that starting with mlb 16 the game should only look a little better.
That proves the point that the MLB team is much smaller than the 2k team.

Don't think about it in terms of what another game does, think of it in the terms of what this team has historically done.

If you want to go by historically mlb the show was hands down the best looking game last gen form mlb 08 and on so why has that changed?

After a year of next gen gaming, these graphics look incredibly dated. I know graphics aren't everything, but sports game tend to push the envelope with the best graphics possible & this is disappointing. Every other sports game on the market looks incredible.

If big changes aren't made this year, it's a skip for me. First time I'll be skipping since I got into the series.

I guess this is where being visually impaired comes in handy... Guess that's why I'm such a harsh grader when it comes to commentary.

This definitely wasn't the best way to make a good first impression. Licensed equipment is nice and adds an element of realism, but continuing to see gravity-defying uniform sleeves is disappointing.

Please just confirm for me they have Coca Cola licensed, no excuse anymore to have the most unique ballpark feature (giant coke bottle in the outfield) missing because of licensing

The game's going to be great and I can't wait for March 31st. However, that was an underwhelming trailer. Until I know more about the new features, none of them are particularly exciting. And almost everything in that trailer could've been MLB 14 and I wouldn't have known the difference.

I think they mean you need stubs to unlock the equipment as a selectable option in the player edit/creation process. All the real life players will already have whatever gear they are supposed to have, but when you create a player in RTTS you will probably need stubs to give him Nike socks.

Unless there's something more to this, and there very well may be, I'm just not understanding the decision.
I think you are underselling just how much other people have wanted legends. It was one of the most demanded features of them all, at least here, and I think even the general public will really love it. If there's one thing us baseball fans love it's to reminisce and relive history.
I'm not saying you have to personally like this feature but I'm positive it will be a popular feature.

I agree. It looked great. The Show has had some celebration animations in the past that have looked very awkward and unhuman, bordering on corny. Guys acted like it was their first time ever hitting the baseball every time. But this one looked pretty chill and realistic, it seemed well done.
