Starting RTTS as Pitcher... need your advice

hello....newbie in this series here Im in my 4th year in my RTTS as a 2B hitter. And its becoming routine and I need some break in between...yes still playing RTTS. Im planning to create a Pitcher.

I have 4FSB, Change-up and Knuckles as my first 3 pitches. Any advice on what to prioritize in regards to Velocity, Control and Breaks? Also, which is more important H/9, K/9, etc?

When will I have the opportunity to add another style of pitch? What other fastball and breaking ball should i add?

Thanks.

Make sure you really like having the knuckleball because you can't remove specialty pitches.

yep!

I'd get something to compliment your FB such as a slider, split finger etc…
As for attributes, I just apply them as the pitch dictates. FB relies on velocity the most, slider is velocity and break, CB is break and all need control so I just use those parameters.
To my way of thinking, K/9 would be more for a strikeout pitcher and H/9 would be more for finesse guy. Acknowledging both are important for all pitchers, but that's how I would categorize it if I had to.

Slider is the most important pitch. I also like to have a running FB or cutter as a second fastball.

Don't train HR/9 as it only affects sims.

Pitching clutch is pretty useless.

BB/9 is very important.

Control makes your pitching interface easier to use.

K/9 is also very important.

I'd recommend training BB/9, K/9, FB velocity to 80, then slider break to 60+. Don't train breaking balls velocity as it increases their velocity. I'd rather have a 70 mph curve than an 83 mph curve...same for my slider. Break is the most important thing for breaking pitches IMO as you won't be able to control them much anyways.

Stamina is also important, but not so much until you get to the majors. I'd get it up to 70 for AA, 75 for AAA, and 80+ for MLB.

Oh and you cannot throw max speed on your fastball if you have a reg changeup, palmball, or curveball? I think the last one is curveball

So if you have all your pitch speeds maxed out for all your pitches and don't have a change, curve,or palmball as one of your first 3 pitches you can throw the max velocity it's like 102 i believe. If you do have one of those three then the max speed is like 100mph. They might have changed this I haven't check in this year games but it has been like this in the past games.
