Guess pitch: Off VS No Feedback

Hey guys,

I'm learning how to play without guess pitch on. I'm wondering what difference, if any, is there between off and no feedback?

In the settings, it stats that No Feedback provides a highest opportunity for bonuses. I have it set to No Feedback for now because I like to hit R2 and move the cursor around pre-pitch simply out of pure habit.

Thanks!

Re: Guess pitch: Off VS No Feedback

The bonuses for correctly guessing the pitch and location is the only difference. When you guess right you get a bonus to swing accuracy, timing, and power. The bonuses are highest for No Feedback because you don't know until after the pitch if you guessed correctly. With guess pitch off you completely lose the risk/reward system of guess pitch. I started playing with it off last year and for me I'm glad I don't use it anymore because I found myself over thinking every decision I made at the plate.

If you have guess pitch off, you lose the ability to use R2 to see where and what pitches have been thrown. I haven't noticed a bonus difference between off or no feedback, think they are the same. Just off is not implied when it comes to whether there is a bonus or not.

Actually this year if you hold down L3 you can see where and what pitches have been thrown regardless.
