Better plate discipline is simply that, don't press the swing button unless you are certain the pitch is down the middle of the strike zone.
(1) Drop your skill level down to rookie.
(2) Sliders ... decrease the speed of the pitch to absolutely zero.
(3) Don't swing at any pitch through the first lineup run through. Hold the controller in your hand and simply watch the pitches. Mentally, decide whether you'd swing when watching the pitches.
(4) Switch sides/teams so you're only hitting. This will give you 54 outs to work with. More practice.
(5) I use pulse pitching, practice makes perfect. Not sure which type of pitching you're using.
(6) Dominate on Rookie level before moving to the next level.

What is the definition of a casual gamer? Is a casual gamer someone who only plays the game on the weekends, or a few days during the week? I personally haven't played the game in about a week. I personally consider myself a casual gamer. I am currently playing on All Star level with a record (don't actually remember since it's been over a week) of probably 40-8 (slider setting, everything on default with the pitch speed maxed out at 100%). I might jump up to the next level or Hall of Fame mode soon to make things more challenging.

Thank you. I play on Veteran. And by casual I mean that I'm a new baseball fan. I overshoot my PCI sometimes and I hit weak grounders especially against curve ball and sliders and I don't know how to prevent my bat getting jammed.

30 Team Control Question

In franchise set up if I have CPU trades turned on, but in the CPU profile mode options I have it set to manual will the CPU still make trades automatically?

No, I'm pretty sure they won't.

They didn't sub in mine either. I watched the the All star game in my season cpu vs cpu and scored it. I just looked back at te scorecard on my phone cause I couldn't remember if they did or not and neither of them did. Pitchers were subbed by both teams using 7-8 pitchers each.

It was 1-0 btw AL. The only scoring play was a sac fly by Brad Miller to score Josh Hamilton in the 2nd. Boring as all heck.

Never saw any position player subs either in 3 different AS games.

Is the Twins crash glitch been fixed or is it still there?

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)

I have a question about MLB *15 the show... Players that did not play the previous season are typically not in the game, so will Alex Rodriguez be in MLB 15?
