How confident are you?

Really?

Beautiful game, and an amazing development team that has proved it to us year in and year out.

New console, and that hasn't always translated well for games in the past.

I'm slightly worried, and the May release date has at least made me wonder - how are things coming along for the first iteration of the PS4 version? I'm buying a PS4 for the sole reason of playing The Show, and I do so fairly confidently, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at all worried at some pretty big hiccups along the way. Two months or less (we don't know an exact date, obviously) and I have only seen a handful of screenshots for the PS4 version (unless I'm not paying attention, which is very possible). Part of me wonders if rolling with the the PS3 version is the more safe bet this year, but I know when it comes down to it, I likely can't follow through on that.

How confident are you guys in the PS4 version not taking a step back? Talk me off the ledge of waiting until 2015, please. It's a big purchase for a man with a wife and three young boys, but if the game is all it should be, I am all in.

Just wish we had more info at this point.

Re: How confident are you?

I am not expecting info for the Ps4 version until April. With the ps3 version coming out first I would only expect info on that. Majority of the features are the same for both so the info applies to both. I know everyone wants to see how it looks and plays on the ps4 but I am sure you will see enough before the game releases to see if it is the right move or not. Ultimately you have to make that decision.

I wouldn't be worried at all. I'm a firm believer that SCEA learned from the ps2 to the ps3 switch and is better prepared to make the jump to a new console.

EA learned with Madden and FIFA from the PS2 to PS3 jump and made the PS4's first iteration pretty good (although Madden's still a PoS, FIFA's AMAZING). Knowing how good SCEA is with the Show, if SCEA made preparations even close to what EA did, we're in for real treat.

I expect it to have some problems here and there because it's a new system, but to be a very good game overall. I think I'll be pleased

About where I'm at. For the first iteration, it MAY have some hiccups (although I'm almost willing to say it won't). But yes, I'm expecting a VERY good game. And with it not launching for another 2 months (hopefully Month 1/2), I think SCEA got this.

Well, SCEA and Naughty Dog sold the system, so I'm obviously very confident in them. I'd love to have the game, but that extra time will be worth it I'm sure!
