Ohtani bug??

Anyone getting the bug where in exhibition mode, Ohtani is always starting pitcher if he is in the batting lineup? I cant start any other pitcher. Strange

I think you can start another pitcher but it messes the batting order up. Ohtani has been in the league for several years now and they still can't figure this out.

He pitched and hit against me in the first game of the season, then in the second game he didn’t play. I found that odd.

I assume his stamina was too low so they gave him a rest. The Angels would do that from time to time too, but I’d think it’s an issue with how player energy works in the game for pitchers.

I know this isn’t exactly the same thing you guys are talking about but why was Ohtani’s black sleeve taken out? He wears one black sleeve and one blue one in real life and they had this correct in mlb the show 24, so I don’t why they removed it

This isn't franchise to be clear. Just regular exhibition play.
