Hate to assume but they said more realistic contracts. Can we assume that Ohtani and Soto have their 700 million plus deals and that other players can get big deals like that. Really kills the off-season when a player who could get 600 million signs for 300

Completely tone deaf for them to tout at new contract logic that is reflective of 2025 FA standards, yet that is the kind of contract a FA would sign for in 2019.
