Storylines Removed from next week’s premiere schedule

I enjoyed the Derek Jeter storyline cause of the real life highlights behind the stories he told himself. And you were recreating real life events.

The Negro league storyline is cool for like three events and then it feels like the same thing over and over to me. Strikeout three batters, finish two innings without a hit etc. Very tedious and boring objectives that get repetitive quickly. I assume I can just watch the videos for the history and not play the game portion. Never tried, but the history you can learn is all that's worth it for that mode IMO.

My hope for the franchise is they made managers actually matter. Also Catchers play a larger role on the field somehow. I think if they make managers matter that could be their way to fix bullpen logic.

I can't wait for SDS to incorporate storylines into Franchise mode to add some more depth to it.

Well, it still doesn’t have Y2Y, SOS, the sliders are an issue for you and doesn’t appear there is anything you like about it. Here is a thought…….don’t buy it.

I didn't buy it last year but I'll watch the franchise video to see if they have made positive changes. Sliders aren't an issue for me. I don't use them. What's SOS?

I'd assume it refers to Sounds of the Show. Which is effectively dead this year as there's no longer a last gen PS version.

So out of curiosity because you talk about a lot of things added to the game being a gimmick, what would you want added to the game? Excluding the broken draft and progression you refer to elsewhere. I am just curious on what you think needs to be improved or added to franchise mode.
