For you, the CPU, or both?

Both. I haven't seen a throwing error or even a ball in the dirt by an Infielder for over a dozen games now.

Re: Errors

Infield throwing errors at 10 every year with this game and they're still pretty rare. Then they might come in bunches randomly. Errors as a whole are always super low and putting throwing errors to 10 is only way to honestly get even one error in a game.

Should I have fielding errors at 10 as well or only throwing ?

In my experience, bumping fielding errors means you'll pretty much never see a nice diving catch again.

Re: Errors

I wish they would create a "ball through the legs of infielder" error animation. I don't think I have ever seen that and yet it may be the most common type of infielder error...

In years past maybe. This year seems to be tied more to fielder reaction from what I’ve seen. If you keep fielder reaction at 5 you will still see plenty of great infield plays. I have infield errors at 8 and see tons of great defensive plays.

I bumped up fielding errors and started seeing every dive result in a ball bouncing off the glove. Reaction helps them get to the ball, but the fielding errors slider still seems to determine how often they execute the play on the dive. In my experience, anyway.

EDIT: I went into Custom Practice and tried different settings, and now I'm not convinced either slider makes a difference on dives. If they do, it's either very slight, or something about Custom Practice breaks things.
