You make a fair point. Liking/loving the game but still bringing up the things you wish they would add/improve is a lot different than coming on here and calling the game trash/turd, calling people dumb for buying it and generally continuously announcing that you won't buy the game, or haven't bought the game in 5 years. To THOSE people I say "why are you still here?" That was the point I was making.

To play devil's advocate, where else are they going to go if they want to see where the state of AAA MLB gaming is?

I've done something similar. There were some years with Madden, many, actually, that I stopped buying the game because it was in a bad place to me, yet I still came to OS annually to follow the information outflow for the new game, I still came to discuss what I felt the game needed to do to become better so that people like myself would return to buying it again.

I didn't call the game trash, EA lazy, or flame those that bought it. I don't think that's the right way to go about it, but I still followed the game despite not buying it for half a decade. It was the only NFL game in town and I wanted to see it get better so I could finally play a modern NFL game I enjoyed again. I imagine that's the same reason many still follow The Show even if they aren't buying it, playing it, and/or enjoying it anymore.

As far as I am aware, this is not a board for people that find the game great in all facets. Those that are displeased with the series should be able to come in here and express themselves as well. Both sides need to do it properly, though, which seems to be a struggle.

Good points. I used to play madden every year religiously. I stopped playing because I really just stopped liking the game. Every year I stop over to that discussion board to see what's going on with the latest release. Once I realize its more of the same, I just wait until the next release and then check again. That's it. I don't go there and b**** about it for weeks.

For whatever issues there are with the Show, the last peoples I can blame are the vast and overwhelmingly majority of fans that still enjoy it enough to purchase and play.
What IS sad are the peoples who don't enjoy it but blame their problem with the game on those that do enjoy. I don't play things like Diamond Dynasty or RTTS or March to October, but I am thankful there are those that spend their money on them. I firmly believe they are funding my Franchise Mode and without them, I probably wouldn't have a new baseball video game every year to enjoy Franchise Mode.

I think a problem is that people would rather see more improvements in areas such as Franchise rather than DD, RTTS or March to October.
