At least you’ll have a 13 dollar hat to cry into.
But we won't have that hat to cry into if we don't buy the game. What it is, we don't even have a pot to piss in.

Instead, we get blank smiley-face trolling on Twitter by the guy that is somehow paid for this "Content". The leadership is questionable, but lack of competition always breeds this type of nonsense, recycled trash. We've seen it in almost every major sport.

Well, yeah. The writing is clearly on the wall. We are how many years into Next-Gen?

Come on Jcar.....this is Par for the course on OS for what the last 5-6 years?

The only time I was truly upset with the game was MLB 21. They stripped away Y2Y, SOTS for next gen, completely changed the check swing RNG to a twitch skill......design decisions that were really bad.....22 was a step in the right direction but fell short....23 is a magnificent baseball game and I was a year late because of how much fun I was still having with MLB 20

I think people expectations are so high these days.....and I simply love playing baseball and no console sports game emulates their respective sport better than MLB The Show.....period.

And everything is about how you approach how you play. I can't convince people how to play their franchise......but I have been doing it since 2009 playing every pitch of every inning and I am in heaven every year.

Hell I loved 20 so much we played it for 4 straight years.

Now? I can easily enjoy 23 for at least several years.

Different strokes for different folks.

But also something that no one really talks about is how much of a set back this current console cycle has been. There are far more people still on their PS4 vs PS5 etc etc I mean a crazy amount. SDS is not abandoning all those players and dollars.....thats not good business.

So I will just keep enjoying 23 for a few more years.....I don't have to have the newest version anymore.

MLB 20 proved that to me. I can be joyful, happy and content playing a great game and being immersed in my franchise universe for years and years without stressing and wasting my precious energy worrying about a Derek Jeter Storyline premier.

Again different strokes for different folks.

Baseball is back.

Life is amazing.

Have fun with it guys.....just play man.

I don't know which is worse (I'm leaning towards their continued obsession with Jeter), but I'm looking forward to the amazing franchise changes like different colored menus and rosters that are still missing top prospects

Yeah I'm with ya on all this. '23 plays a great game. I pre-ordered '24 as I'm pretty sure it'll be '23 with some improvements. But if I had to stick with '23, I wouldn't be upset. I've been playing this game since it's inception and have been a loyal customer and rarely have I been disappointed. Y2Y saves would have been nice to keep, so that bummed me out I admit. But I also understand there must have been a solid reason, business-wise, to remove it. Not just, they must hate their customers which makes no sense.

I totally get that people want and hope for different things when it comes to their PS games. I guess I don't get why people get so angry and think that because we asked for it on OS, that means SDS should provide it. LOL.

It's baseball season guys. Spring training games start today. Rejoice.
