Road to the Show has a lot of potential. If you look at it majority of us love it even though its been copy and paste for the last 3 years. SDS took out the Showcase which you could play up to 4 times i believe. Realistically when you get drafted in mid July and sign you played the last two months of Rookie league. So if MLB 24 really creates something, add some type of play through like the showcase. you either go to college or if you're drafted sign with the team and play rookie ball.
Two times to make the game great..

1. Create a storyline, why not.. if you sign after the showcase as a 18yo play your rookie ball but heres the thing have it be from the pervious year. So you have a chance to go to Spring training earn a roster spot or go to AA or AAA play your way up for the next year (everything is already determined in the majors you will not get called up after you sign).
2. create College baseball. either Juco for 1 year or D1 for your Junior year. doesn't have to be real college players. they can be all CPU generated. Maybe have 10 teams. play 10-15 games including the College World Series.

A storyline is the big thing.. If NBA2K can make a crappy storyline SDS should be able to create something.

Remember San Diego Studios.. The King will be back in 2024 after 10 years of being in limbo..
