Accurate Minor League Options

Might anyone know, or have any insight, as to why the minor league options don't reflect the real life counterparts?

It seems as though 95% of the league has all 3 options available at the beginning of the 2022 season.

Having given us the ability to edit service time, I wish they would do the same with player options.

But its not easy to quantify. I don't blame SDS for not taking the time to chase all this info down.

1200 players on the 40-man rosters. How long would you last Google searching all that cr@p?!

It should 100% be an editable thing. I do kind of blame them a bit because it’s something you only have to input one time and then edit a couple players from year to year. Also considering how important options are to MLB franchises it is kinda an important thing

The problem is, you/whomever have to pinpoint when the player was added to the 40-man roster. If that info isn't available, there's no way to know, definitively how many options a player has used.

I'm not sure what info MLB and the MLBPA provides. I would hope service time and options are available to SDS?!

Anyway, just saying, I don't think this is as cut and dried as we'd like to think.

.. but hopefully this is editable at some point, that is the easiest solution, for sure.
