2022 Rosters for MLB The Show 20 (PS4)

OPENING DAY SET IS UP!

-40 man
-26 man (28 man rule this year obviously can't be accomplished)
-Players on the 60 day DL have been moved to Class A and taken off the 40 man to make room for the real 40 man players. As discussed earlier, CPU won't handle these guys well in franchise, so I would suggest making edits before starting a franchise if you want these guys to play in the first year.
-New player models for prospects who made it to the show (J-Rod, Witt Jr., Stott, etc)
-Line-ups vs RHP done to opening day. All line-ups would take me forever, sorry!
-All players are real players, and 99% are a part of their actual organizations. Some restrictions of the platform prevent 100% accuracy.
-All contracts and service time have been updated, including minor leagues. Again, should be 99% accurate because this game can be a pain in the arse sometimes.
-Re-rated literally every player who played in the MLB last year. Attributes are based upon their stats, and take into account historical statistics. (99 ratings are reserved for exceptional talent only.) Statcast was used for ratings like speed and arm strength (where available). Stolen base aggressiveness was based upon how many attempts the player made relative to games played. Stolen base ability was based upon success rate (with a minimum number of attempts). For example, Bo Bichette was 25/26 in SB's last year, so he has an above average aggressive rating, and a very high ability rating. I did this for almost every MLB player last year for every single attribute.
-Potentials have been numbed considerably. Far less A potential players, considering C potential (70-79 OVR) is your average MLB player. Very good players will be B potential, with all-star+ players getting the A potential. Over achievers will have an OVR higher than their potential, these are guys who have historically been average, but have had one or two good years.

I'm going to try to keep plugging away at them and maybe release another set at the all-star break.

No guarantees though... 😂

Do me a solid and rate these things if you download. It seems there are a few people who like to down vote them for some reason... I wish I knew so I could fix whatever they have a problem with, but I guess you can't please everyone.

I CANT WAIT TO TRY THESE OUT. Thanks so much for remembering us mlbts 20 on PS4!!! So many have gone to PS5 but i don't have $700-$800 for a console. (that's just crazy). So as long as I can find updated rosters for Madden and MLBTS I will keep my PS4 Pro thank you.

Once again, a terrific set. Here's my crystal ball game. It's tomorrow's Red Sox game at Detroit. Looks like we'll take the series My only error was not switching JD to DH and JBJ to RF in the lineup. Wasn't paying attention I guess. Trevor Story belts his first homer as a Red Sox. Probably won't play due to illness but I can hope!
