Has anyone played with the blocking ability of catchers to reduce wild pitches? Would it help?

Coming over from Madden... all I can say is, I sure hope it doesn't come to that.

I'll never admit to the sheer amount of hours I spent editing rosters to compensate for the flaws of that game.

Hopefully it just gets patched up.
