Pittsburgh Pirates Edits

First off thanks to tree 3 five and the other contributers to this roster.
Second, I have a house rule not to edit my own team the Pirates of course. If there are any edits they have to be made by someone else for integration sake.
That said, I took tree3fives Pirates set and replaced alot of the nonprospects with the younger Pirates prospects with higher potential. While these players are legit Pirates, do I have an unfair advantage vs the cpu teams?

I would say no unfair advantage. They are in the Pirates system, you are just making an aggressive push through the system. Thats why I added them to the free agents, so we could use them!

Do you guys replace older players with the prospects in free agency before starting franchise or once in franchise mode

If you wait until you are in a franchise you will have to sign them which affects your payroll. If you replace them before franchise you just add them with no financial implications.

I usually do it before I start a new franchise.

Looks like we won't need this Cutch CAP. The new patch adjusted his hair. I haven't seen him yet, I am at work right now.

With the new patch we can once again change primary positions without losing the secondary position. I left Lambo at 1B because of this glitch, now that it's fixed I changed Lambo to RF primary and his glove should be all black with modified trapeze web (that's what he uses in the OF)

Also I changed Pedro's stance back to Laird/2H/stride 1

Check out Nick Franklin for Pedro Alvarez stance. Need to edit to 2H follow-through.

Edit: On second though, nm I tested it. Think Laird looks best when he's not moving the bat around. Laird or E Johnson.

Did you get to check out the Hanson with a slap swing?
