OSFM: 2015 New York Mets

After many years of admiring this project I finally get a chance to get to work on this project with my favorite team! Im looking forward to working with knight and the rest of the team on making a great roster. Because this is my first year doing some major roster editing I'm looking for all the help and guidance that I can get, If you would like to help please let me know.

So over the past few days I have done some research at trying to predict the Triple-A and Double-A rosters for the organization. For right now I have just listed the players their positions and what there potentials are. Over the next week or two I will try and have the ratings for all the players that will need to be created. I will be using Willard76 ratings guide for creating new players.

95-99 - Superstar player, Future HOF player
90-94 - Perennial All Star, Bottom End Superstar - a true Ace or top 2/3 player, some Closers but not all
85-89 - semi Regular All Stars, Could be a #1 starter on most teams, most Closers and high end Set up guys
80-84 - sometimes All Star/Everyday player on any team, 2/3 Starters, low end Closers and most set ups guys
75-79 - Everyday player on most teams/high end Bench players, most 3/4 starters, low end set up or very good relievers
70-74 - Bench Players/on the cusp minor league players or AAAA players, 4/5 starters, average relievers
65-69 - AAAA players or career AAA players
60-64 - AAA or good AA players
55-59 - AA or high A
50-54 - High A quality which includes good Short Season A players
45-49 - high school draftees

Also no minor league hitter should have a clutch rating above 45, most should be 35 ish unless they are on the cusp of making it.

Players In Orange Are going to be created.

Re: OSFM: 2015 New York Mets

Here is the team color guide for the Mets. This is useful when editing equipment. I'll double check this when 15 drops and update if need be.

Team Color 1: Met Blue (the blue of their uniforms)
Team Color 2: Orange
Team Color 3: Black

Re: OSFM: 2015 New York Mets

I'm pretty sure Eric Campbell will be on the Major league squad. He will be their utility guy.

Re: OSFM: 2015 New York Mets

He is one of those guys that has a 50/50 shot of making the team, according to rosterresource.com they have him starting in triple-A. They are usually pretty accurate about this stuff, Ill be sure that MLB AAA and AA teams are all correct when it come times to edit my part.

Update: forgot to put Duane Below will probably be in Triple-A he was signed in february

Re: OSFM: 2015 New York Mets

Campbell is a lot better shot at the big club. Puello is a very long shot. Barring injuries and trades, Collins and Sandy A have been mostly predictable in picking guys like Campbell over guys like Puello. Campbell plays infield and outfield. Hits well off lefties. Can spell Wright, who will be taking an extra day off here and there. It's a minor debate really. But they've all but promised Soup will be on the opening day roster.

Best of luck and thank you for taking on this task. I enjoy the Mets fans and their input on this forum as it allows me a much better experience with this game. The edits to equipment and the music are spot on.

The best part of this is that I'd we disagree we can always adjust something to our own tastes. So the flaming that happens over little things like this is really unnecessary.

They fixed our uniforms this year and I'm a happy camper. I'd be ecstatic if they fixed the minor stadium issues that bug me. (i.e. still using the Shea apple instead of the current Citi apple)

Re: OSFM: 2015 New York Mets

Mets signed Josh Rodriguez who was with the Marlins last season. He was also in the OSFM set. Idk if you planned on including him or not but just in case he'll need service time.

Re: OSFM: 2015 New York Mets

I think Conforto should be a B+ borderline A. He was considered the best bat in the draft and raked in Brooklyn last year.
