Re: Best Roster

What are your preferences?

I am guessing you're plenty familiar with the OSFM rosters and hybrids, V3 should be out soon.

That is current players + minor leaguers.

Then there's historic sets. Dalmanator1 has some nice sets out there. I'm working on a set now too that I will likely put out in a few days once I've done a bit more sim and gameplay testing.

You can always tweak a roster set as well ratings wise.

Re: Best Roster

Ive played extwnsively with all rosters hybrid v.3 is far superior in ratings. Sbfm looks prettiest but ratings are way overpowered. Speed edits are too high inv.3 thats the only thing off

Appreciate the plug for our roster, but I'd have to disagree about the speeds being off. Granted they are really hard to do because there aren't any standardized home-to-first times available, but I don't see anything off. Did you have some examples of what you meant with speed ratings?

There is no best.

Try some/look at some and see what you feel would be the most fun to play with.

This include franchise stuff like trading and FA if you're a franchise player.

I never said they werent hard to do. Speed ratings are by far the hardest rating their is. The only way anyone can ever get speed ratings spot on is by watching and listening and reading baseball for a few years straight. Theres no other way. Ur speed edits are on a good scale from player to player their just overrated across the board. About 10-15 points to high. Elite speed nonwithstanding. On good base stealers of low name ball players their speeds are bumped because "why not"? They look fast on paper(ex. todd frazier, nori aoki). Point is no one will ever nail speed to a tee. This roster is great bru, lol dont sweat it. I was just letting little buddy know its nearly perfect.
