This roster set is based off of Knight's OSFM V2, including everything from its Corrections thread and all PS4 Beard Corrections.

The roster has most players off the disabled list and on the major league roster. All transactions and MLB, AAA, AA rosters, lineups and pitching rotations are up-to-date.

All players are up to date with SCEA’s latest ratings from their weekly updates. Almost all SCEA players were affected in their recent massive update.

I’ve teamed up with ARoid1313 (CLK44) who has helped by creating about 75 player faces for this roster. His work is phenomenal and SCEA previously used some of his created faces (Harper, Darvish, Cespedes, Chen, and more) in their MLB 12 Live Roster.

All Transactions are up-to-date
Correct MLB Player Numbers
2014 Draft 1st Round Prospects added
Added a 'Top 50' icon next to all Top 50 Prospects on MLB.com's midseason list that was featured on MLB Network
Retired and Released MiLB Free Agents Removed
All Fake/Generic Players Removed
Many Player Additions (Credit to some of the fellow OS roster makers)
Position changes where necessary
Player ratings updated via SCEA's latest roster update (Almost all SCEA players affected in recent massive update)
Service Time updated for many (mainly MiLB) players (credit jermars666)
Thanks to Mizzou24 for letting me use some of his player faces
Some equipment edits (NL Central, Phillies, Diamondbacks, Dodgers, Rays 25 man rosters fully done, as well as various other players)
25 Man Rosters so they are Franchise ready

OSFM V2 Update 9/5 – Username SideEffect34 is now in the vault. My previous updates in the vault are "OSFM V2 Update 8/30", "OSFM V2 Update 8/21","8/10 beta", and "OSFM V2 Update 7/29".

Here is a list of which team's extra players are in the free agent list. I put all the extras in Free Agents 3 so that if you use CPU control in Franchise Mode, you can put them back on the team more easily since Free Agents 1 & 2 are unavailable in CPU Control.

In 1day I seen the worst and best of this site.In my 3yrs here I never, until 2day have had ill feelings on a post that simply detoured me from posting ever again, especially after u are being attacked by another member who's heads up his and believes every thread or post with questions about a simple NON PROJECT ORIENTED Roster. That being said. ......
SideEffect, Thank u so much for posting this thread. This is SO MUCH MORE than I needed and asked 4 in my 2 threads yesterday. I really do appreciate when ppl put 2gether their rosters, whether its KNIGHT, Mizzou etc. And....I will eventually use them when I start yet again another franchise at some point.But w/Football season and Madden coming out, I know I will not finish or play much of a Franchise past the 1st season, so this for me is precisely what I need . Usually I gradually update my own DL of OSFM, but w/health issues, I just haven't had the time each day to check them transaction wire and update them. Again T/Y, sorry for writing a paragraph in your thread, but I'm just very thankful. God Bless.

These sound perfect, but one question, what are the differences between these and the set you released a few weeks back? Is it just the updated transactions?

Thanks. Yes, mainly transactions as well as updated lineups, rotations. Some minor players were added and removed. Also didn't add all the 1st round prospects yet in the last roster. And new Aroid created faces.

I'm normally pretty quiet in this part of town, but I've recently gotten back into The Show and have finally decided for the first time to do a franchise, and your rosters seem like exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you for all of your effort, and I'll be looking forward to the release of V2!

These rosters are really good. I've been making my own but these are way better. I just added Rusney Castillo and Yasmani Tomas as free agents and they're perfect. I think the ratings are true and make for great gameplay. Thanks so much for these SideEffect they are much appreciated.

All the ratings are the new scea ratings, I agree the new adjustments are spot on.
IMO these are the very best rosters since osfm v2
