1991 Season

I’m currently starting the process of doing a 1991 roster, my favorite season of baseball for no other reason than that was the height of my baseball card collecting and I just remember that year very well.

Any interest in anyone wanting me to post this roster when I’m done? It’ll probably be another week or two before it’s finished.

Sounds cool, but what system is it for mlb 23, mlb 24?

Is it going to be 26, 40 or 90 man roster?

Are you giving the proper league alignment of teams back in 1991?

MLB '24 for PS5. Mostly going to be 26 man rosters. And there will be a few changes that are selfish on my end (for instance, Bo Jackson will be on the Royals). I'm not going to make every single middle of the road reliever, and mostly am concerned with good solid 9 man lineups, with a few notable bench players. It's just so much work.

Is there a way to align the divisions? I'm also not going to fool with Marlins, Rockies, Rays, or D-Backs.

That's cool man, I wish you well with it! I'm on 20 and 23, but in our history of doing and having these classic rosters, there has never been an actual 1991 roster that was legit to my knowledge.

So Storm buddy. Are you ever going to upgrade from show 23 or are you like me waiting on Madden 25 and EA College?

Oh an pago, good luck with your roster. I made 2 and I know what a ton of work they are.

No im not upgrading, my plan is to hopefully pick up the footballs, and that probably will be it for a good while for me.

These games are getting super expensive and I just have other things I need to handle in real life. Im thankful for what i have, but yeah Im gonna take the I'll play what I have approach for a few years.

The baseball, I’ve heard some good things with it, just really doesn't make sense to pick up at this point, there's really no classic rosters atleast from this forum, and even if there were the content creators would atleast post them here to download, which says alot, about what's available.

The y2y saves really messed that up, people are tired of making 26, 40 and 90 man rosters year after year, sds could have put that feature in, they chose not to.

If I ever see like an tremendously "5 dollar special" super sale yeah I'd grab it for the upgraded game features and the new negro league play, other wise I don't see that happening.

PJSnell did a '91 roster but unfortunately that was years ago and now lost to the ages.

You can't realign divisions but I think even if you put this in the PlayStation vault, it will automatically be available in the XBox and Nintendo vault.
