MLB THE SHOW 24: SDS Live Roster Update - Players Added

I started playing NBA 2k's recently and they have me spoiled on this. If they add a player Roster update I can just simply import them into my already existing Franchise. If they have an actual player portrait it will import with them. The only thing that doesn't import is career stats.

In the 2019 game, SDS partnered with a few youtubers/streamers by putting them in the game. If you typed in the youtubers name in create a player or RTTS, the game would recognize the name in the player database and import their face scan. If you look up Brett Barrett RTTS 2019 on youtube, there is a video showing him importing his own face scanned player. I don't know why they don't allow us to import face scanned players from the player datatbase, when they have the ability to do so.

I do have a full list of those special names that popped up in the game when entering there name those years. I have no clue if they still work.

Ronel Blanco had is weight changed to 265 lbs... looks way more like him now!

I wonder why that change didn't auto update within the franchise.

He's not a CAP, and other changes pick up automatically.

Because it was part of roster update.... That stuff doesnt feed over to already started Franchises or old roster saves.

Even for non caps? So that means cause Enmanuel Valdez doesn't have his name ( is a face scan player ) in audio, I won't get that update when / if they update his profile in a future roster update? I thought face scan players updated as they have a locked player id.

I believe only get if patched in.
