Open Schedule (Manual) Question

So I have created a 30 man online franchise, only 9 users as of now with the rest CPUs. We have an open schedule with manual advance. I know we can play any game of the year, but how does the advancing work? The game list shows some CPu and only 3 User bye weeks. It is the very beginning. I guess what I am asking is how does advancing work? Can all of us users technically play every game before simming anything? Does each user have to play a certain number games by the time i advance the cpu games? New to it this year. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

I made one with my friends and thought of the same thing. It's literally manual advance, you need to go into each CPU team schedule and sim the game or series.
