Spring Training issues?

Just played a game in spring training and noticed that teams arent subbing position players out, and the everyday players are playing the entire game.

Pitchers are fine and just like in years past, although its never been right with the way they do this compared to how they do it IRL, but atleast they arent having starters pitch until they are tired.

In years past starters would play for about 7 innings or so then they would start getting pulled for PH'ers. SCEA never did really get this right either, cause early in the spring starting position players only play about half the game. Atleast they actually did pull the guys unlike the way it is this year.

I didnt see this issue posted anywhere, or even in the bugs section over at MLBTS home page. But it is definitely a issue for people who play spring training.

I suppose Im probably in the minority when it comes to playing spring training games, but its somehting I always enjoyed doing, as I like ST'ing IRL as well, unlike other sports preseason games.

I was just wondering if this is bugging anyone else, and if anyone thinks this is something that they will fix with a patch? I havent put it in the bigs report, but Im going to head over there and do that. I wish I would have started a franchise sooner but I was waiting on the OSFM rosters before starting. Might be too late now for them to fix this in a patch, even if they wanted too. Heck I havent even heard anything about another patch which is would really be bad if the franchise isnt fixed for the PS3 version.

U bring up good points, I assume ur talking about opposing teams right? Cuz I guess I've never noticed because I just make sure I make the proper moves on my own team.

Yeah, Im talking about the computer controlled team. I looked all over an didnt see anyone say anything about this, which Im surprised considering the game has been out so long, but it is definitely broken and needs fixed. Not sure why its not the same as it has been in years past, but its not. Pitchers get used as they always have in spring games, just not position players. Really ruins spring games. Just seem there are a lot of things this year that are really hurting franchise mode, that really needs to be fixed. I think they kind of took a step back this year, which isnt normal for this game, cause they have always improved year to year, but if this stiff gets fixed in a patch it will be fine and the best game to date on the PS3.

I've been playing ST recently and I've noticed exactly the same thing. Have you submitted a bug report?

Yeah there is a bug report submitted. Hopefully it gets fixed among other things in franchise this year with a patch, an hopefully soon. Sounds like the bug that had teams signing top prospects to long term deals at around 1 mil a year was fixed in the PS4 version, so hopefully they dont shaft us PS3 guys on that, and they fix this issue with ST'ing.
