Fuzzy Transition Scenes?

I am wondering if I am the only one witnessing a almost constant "fuzzy" or out-of-focus scene transition occurring in gameplay this year? It doesn't do it EVERY time, but darn close.

Essentially, when the scene ends, whether it's moving from introductions to the next part or one at-bat to the next, etc., my screen stops very briefly, all the edges on things get blurry or fuzzy, then the transition to the next screen happens and everything is back to normal.

I just got done playing last year's game and it never did this to me, so wondering if this is a early optimization issue with MLB14.

I initially thought it was a resolution problem, but it doesn't matter whether I have my PS3 set to 720 or 1080, it still does it. Then I thought maybe it was my new Panasonic P55ST60 plasma TV, but no, it works just great with last year's game.

Anyone else seeing this problem?

I get a brief fade to black X-ing through stuff occasionally, bit annoying.
