I hope the hitting logic is fixed. Especially with the next Gen console. Hitting is too difficult in the show. It seems like your to early or too late. By a hair.

Yeah, times I think I've got great or perfect timing, and I'm just early or just late. It can get annoying. Then again I use hardest hitting settings, so maybe I should ease up.. hmmmm

I got a LOT better at plate discipline in 2013, started drawing walks regularly, got into a nice groove with pitch recognition. But it's been months since I played so I'll probably be hacking a lot to start out in 2014. Hopefully muscle memory (thumbs have muscles in them) will take over and I'll be able to get back some of my moxie at the plate sooner rather than later.


Guess pitch helps a lot, if I get down in the count I always guess low so I don't strike out on something in the dirt.If I know it's not gonna be low, I have a much better chance at either taking a ball or swinging on something hittable. I can generally tell if a pitch is gonna be inside or outside, unless it's a lefty throwing a slider outside against a lefthanded batter, that pitch kills me. Against lefties I will also guess outside a lot when I've got 2 strikes on me.

i dont know why and it makes no sense, but i have to take my hand off the controller when i recognize a high fastball. for some reason, i twitch my hand and swing at them. if the crowd yells swing and / or i hear the ball hit the glove i twitch and swing.

otherwise, i is a pitcher with a slow fastball and an even slower change up or curve. i cannot hit those guys.

Sliders away are hard for me, but I've learned some self restrain .. Except side arm pitchers, can't hit them at all

Knuckleballs by far kill me. My goal is to just wade it out and hope I get enough walks he tires out and I get to another pitcher

Lmao I do the same thing. Im a Yankee fan, & I hated playing the Red Sox when Tim Wakefield pitched & now R.A. Dickey has taken the throne in the AL East Fml lol

Those pitches are just nasty
