Hopefully MLB 14 on PS4 is a better initial product than MLB 07 on PS3 was, though I think in general, it's probably a good idea to skip the first iteration on a new generation of consoles given the likely issues.
my first Show was '08. So i dont know how bad (or good) '07 was, but i do know that the PS3 was VERY complex, and that the PS4 is MUCH easier to develop for than the PS3 was, so I'm expecting a good showing.

the worst part of the wait is there really is no new ps4 games coming out till May, thief and second son are the only 2 I can think of. I won't be getting thief not a FPS fan.

but as I said before what worries me is they have not given a stamped date in May which means its up to be delayed again, I would advice everyone to get a PS3 version first just in case it could be a loooooooong wait otherwise.

April 1st I guess its only about 3 and a half more weeks to wait then last year

A little, yeah. I'll withhold any further disappointment until we see more though.

I don't know if someone mentioned it here or somewhere else, but they were able to get Daisuke in MLB 07 (under an alias though) so there's some hope...

I should've made it more clear. I meant based on the screens we saw. And I agree.. I'll withhold judgment until I see videos of many more players. Also, it's a testament to SCEA that my biggest disappointment is players not having different body sizes:P

The ps3 show cannot be released April 1 because that is when gamestop said it would be released and everyone knows gamestop cannot be right. This is as good a time as any to buy tombraider for the ps4 and wait until May to think about baseball

Don't care about the release date being pushed back, thats a sign of a company wanting to make a good game over making the most money. That trailer was the disappointment.

Yeah, this is really going to screw with the OSFM people because now they have to wait until after the season is a week old to touch the rosters. And I would think the PS4 version has much more complex player creation abilities (like the type of facial hair), that the complete, final version of the OSFM may not even be done until sometime in late June. Now THAT would be the halfway point of the season.

but think of it this way, at least by then all the 40 man and 25 rosters are done, so the rosters won't have to do as much work as before we would have a roster update by then too, and most of the players then created would only be players that really need to be, thats really a good thing when you think about it
