MLB13 - Players You Can't Live Without

There is one thing I personally can't never stay away from...and that is acquiring the same players over and over again for my repective franchise team.

I want to list those players that I always find myself acquiring sooner or later, in this title and previous titles:

SP - C. Wang / It does't matter how bad he is IRL and in the game I always pitch very well with him

IF/OF - Justin Turner / I really like him on my bench

OF - Will Venable / when the need comes for an OF and leadoff, I always trade for him

RP's - Luke Gregerson and Brian Dunsing / I always end up acquiring these 2

It does not matter how good or bad my team is, it feels empty if I don't have one of these players.

I have a couple of more guys that end up in my roster...

But for now, Who are those players that you can't live without??

I had to sign Brian Wilson as a free agent. No choice. I needed the Beard.

It used to be Craig Counsell for me, & then the last 3 years I'd get Wakefield & his knuckler. This year I played a few exhibition games with R.A Dickey
hopin' to recapture the magic but it just didn't feel the same, so I didn't go through with gettin' him in my franchise. This year I find myself missin' Emilio Bonifacio. Maybe I'll deal for him.

Not exactly the same, but I miss guys like Jim Edmonds & Carlos Delgado.
I always enjoyed using them on my rosters. Now the best I can get is usually cheap recreations.

Re: MLB13 - Players You Can't Live Without

I've been doing a Tampa franchise for a few years now... Ben Zobrist saved my season 2 years ago, and he was pretty great for me last year too. Kyle Farnsworth was also outstanding out of the 'pen...

But this year I'm running a Mets franchise again, and boy do I miss Carlos Beltran, and in fact, Carlos Delgado. That duo never let me down in MVP Baseball.

I'll tell you who I don't miss, in real life or on my team in The Show: BJ Upton. Good Riddance. If he could trade even a quarter of those strikeouts for hits... I would have made the playoffs!

Mike Trout
This ones pretty simple. He's a great hitter and I need to get him (Fantasy Drafts)

Jimmy Paredes
He plays multiple positions and moving him to 2nd ups his trade value and makes him an 69 overall. He's a pretty decent hitter and fielder and easy to use.

Jarrod Saltalamacchia
Another guy I can rely to hit well with and I need one ridiculous name on my team

Starling Marte
Hes usually a decent guy to put in center. Steals Bases, shows glimpses of power, and has great potential. Not a MUST have, but a strong option in the outfield

My homer pick is Granderson, love hitting with him.

As for another guy, I'm loving Bautista in my Nats chise. The guy hits everything!
