Sorry if this was probably mentioned, what happened to the Franchise Newspaper/Headlines, and why was it pulled? If anyone has a direct link to that specific issue, do share, not a link to a 40 page thread about The Show Whinning...

Everything is in the ticker now. So I take it that's why they got rid of it

I do miss it, it may seem trivial, but it added a bit of depth to franchise mode which can quickly get repetitive.

I suppose you're right, the ticker is a great idea but why should it be a replacement?
couldn't they leave both in? Or was that too much to ask?

I may even go back to MLB12 when I get bored just for the newspaper

, (it was a great game after all..)

I think it had to do with memory space from the addition of the advanced scouting this year.

At least I know that's why they got rid of the banking and adding seats/hot tubs/vendors stuff.
