Pulse pitching or Meter pitching

In MLB13 i played my whole season with pulse pitching, but after a lot of practice pitching in MLB13 i felt that i do not get that much outs. I started with meter pitching and get a lot better results with outing batters. Anybody who had this also and started the new season with meter pitching?

I use Pure Analog, mainly because I find it to be more interesting and fun.

I also love the pure analog...I feel like it at least simulates the act of rearing back and firing a pitch and then rotating based on inside or outside pitches.

I use the meter or pure analog. Haven't decided yet.

Pulse is my favourite, but my best friend that I play with has a long history with seizures, so I can't use it when I play with him, so I might as well get used to something else.

This may be one of the nicest posts I've ever read on an internet gaming forum! Bravo. I applaud you.

I wonder what I'd do if Classic Pitching gave my fiance seizures?...

Hmm....

I like pulse but it makes me dizzy so I use meter. I am not one for using the sticks(analog). I really did give analog a good try, it's just not for me. I will always be buttons because also sometimes I go and play the old versions of this game that didn't have analog. So I'd rather all controls be the same for me.

Re: Pulse pitching or Meter pitching

With Pulse Pitching last year, wasn't there a complaint that you could never throw a wild pitch when using that control scheme? Is that still the case?

I've never tried Classic (any pros/cons from the "classic" guys?) in all my years of Show-itude, and I used Pulse a lot last year, but I always fall back to Meter. Maybe's it's just the one I got used to over the years, but I always enjoyed it the most because I don't feel I have to be as uber-focused on the screen (like Pulse Pitching) and can get into a more natural rhythm, if I'm balancing my pitches right and managing my pitch confidence to where I'm having a solid game.

I'm actually happy I read this thread because I completely forgot The Show took a stab at Analog Pitching and I honestly can't remember how it turned out. So I'll have to re-visit that next time.
