Did anyone notice in this video in the menu the "MINI MODES"?

Any idea what this is?

Will the commentary/stats from 'the show live' work as well in franchise, ala mlb today mode?

meaning, putting up OSD's on players stats from the night before. etc.

Also, I see they didn't vamoose those creaky pre-game cut scenes.

Did anyone else notice one of the screen's shows the new shortstop for the Oakland A's who is from Japan, does this mean that players expecting to get called up to the majors or be in the majors but who haven't played yet are already in the game and just need to be unlocked and put in when the MLBPA approves of them?


Also what happens if a player gets hurt and a minor leaguer gets called up to replace them and play in there spot, what happens in this mode?

From what I've heard, the rosters in the show live are separate from their normal roster updates, I'm assuming they just do a quick CAP since daily updates are absolutely vital to this mode... maybe since SCEA is officially affiliated with MLB they are able to bypass the restrictions they had in the past?

I believe that is where the practice modes are tucked into.
