After hearing that all the OSD's can be turned off I want to know if there's an option to just turn off the MLB 13 The Show OSD at the top of the scorebug to make it look totally like a real broadcast or at least consider making it drop down after every first pitch

How about a little love on that Scouting page! I see randomized names. How about a real Scout!

Well that's pretty ignorant IMO, he won Cy Young last year for a reason, and over the last 3 years, his numbers are nearly just as good as them, borderline better than the King.

Last 3 seasons :

Dickey -> 39-28 -> 2.95 ERA
Felix -> 40-35 -> 2.93 ERA

But if Dickeys numbers are good enough to be 98-99, I guess the rating system is just based on the present and not the past. Meaning if it were based on the past, the best guy of today might get a low-mid 90s but not high 90s since high 90s would be for greatest players in baseball history.

And while there is about a 10 year age difference between the 2...
In past 3 years
Hernandez:2.92ERA,1.138WHIP,3.51K-BB ratio
Dickey:2.95ERA,1.150WHIP,3.12K-BB ratio

So both guys fairly close.

That's just because one of them is named "RA Dickey," and the other is named "Felix Hernandez," other than that there is no reason not to compare their numbers.

Because win/loss record and ERA are the best ways to judge how good a pitcher is right?

This is why I hate numerical ratings. If there is a option to toggle it off as Ramone alluded to, then that will be the ABSOLUTE first thing I do when I get the game.
